I would say that my artistic journey is an exploration of the human soul; an incessant quest for connection between the individual and something greater. Between the sustenance of desire and the pain of the past, my art seeks to develop a kind of intertwining that ranges from cultural construction to the flows of the collective unconscious. The symbols, represented in colors, signs, and threads, shape my drawings and paintings. My intention is to provoke a dialogue that questions the impacts and consequences of existential and social conflicts, as well as the expectations and pain stemming from a society with a distorted vision.

As a Designer and a psychotherapist passionate about Jungian thought and the ancient wisdom of Asian culture, I find in art a bridge between the conscious and the unconscious, between the self and the universe.

Born under the scorching skies of the interior of Ceará, I was shaped by the force of nature and the richness of regional culture. It is from this arid and fervent land that I draw my inspiration. I believe that, just like the seasons and the phases of the moon, we are beings in constant change and transformation, always in tune with the energies that surround us and implicated by the experiences that pass through us.
