eve teixeira is a psychoanalyst who also expresses her perspective through visual art and writings.

Born in the heart of the Ceará hinterlands, in a small town called Acopiara. She lived with her grandparents until the age of 14 in a nearby district named Trussú, after the river that flows through it, home to approximately 4,000 inhabitants. As a child, she grew up 'free' under the scorching sun, bathing with a gourd and playing ball in the streets. She also grew up with a strong sense of independence, and it was through this experience that she embraced art as her form of expression.

In 2001, she moved to the capital of Ceará, Brazil, facing years of profound challenges—adaptation, rejection, and trauma that tested her emotional limits. Seeking to prove her worth and resilience, she moved to São Paulo in 2009. There, she built a successful 11-year career in a field she had never studied, driven by sheer determination.

However, in 2019, her world was shaken by the loss of her primary emotional support. This loss stripped her previous path of its meaning, triggering an unconscious but inevitable change in direction. This turning point led her back to her essence: the study of emotions and the unconscious.

"Art, for me, is a tool that explores manifestations of the unconscious and the soul. All my creations reflect how I perceive the world, my yearnings, and deepest reflections, as well as my joys and vision of love. They also reveal my vulnerability, allowing you to get to know a little more about who I am through them."

After graduating in Fashion Design in 2009, she felt a need for deeper understanding, which led her to study emotions and unconscious behavior.

What began as a personal journey toward self-knowledge and healthier relationships evolved into a new professional path in 2019.

Having completed her psychoanalytic training and a postgraduate degree, she is now pursuing a second degree in Psychology. Following a semester of cultural immersion in Korea and Japan, she has returned to South Korea to deepen her studies on the context of suicidal ideation as a visiting student at Sookmyung Women's University

she believes that the arts, much like analysis, are powerful tools to reveal our true selves and to connect us with the essence that resides within us. For the artist, it goes beyond mere artistic expression.

in working with the theme 'Objeto a,' Eve invites others to reflect on life in all its complexity and subjectivity, serving as a reminder that we are part of a universe in constant movement and transformation, and that our emotions do not need to be seen as a problem, but as a part of ourselves
